Administrative Council
The Administrative Council, working with Western SARE Regional Coordinator Phil Rasmussen and staff in Utah, Wyoming and Montana, sets guidelines, develops calls for proposals and establishes project priorities. The council tries to ensure that funded projects have the appropriate balance and diversity that can represent the region's wide-ranging geography and subject matter. The Administrative Council Alumni group was formed to provide continuity in the Western SARE program and to engage the experience of past Administrative Council members. Members are tapped to represent Western SARE at various events and to share their counsel. Their talents and goodwill are indispensable to the success of the Western SARE program.
Administrative Council
Western SARE is governed by an Administrative Council that oversees funding and develops policies and strategies.
Alumni
Western SARE's alumni program aims to continue the relationship already developed with those who have "retired" from direct involvement, but who are still interested in continuing to work with SARE on issues of sustainable agriculture.
